Her focus is developing the entrepreneur into success by helping define vision, create a strategic plan, move into action, and measure results. Lakeysha’s childhood allowed her to experience entrepreneurship as early as she can remember. Every summer, she would help her mother with a back-to-school yard sale. The yard sales later developed into a dedicated store at a local flea market. She spent every weekend helping her family. She later tried starting websites to help sell her mom’s antiques and plus size apparel. She did not make any sales online. She learned that it is definitely not true that if you build it they would come. Over the years, she has had businesses in homemade cakes and pies, outer apparel, cosmetics, nutrition, and several network marketing stints. In network marketing, she found that she needed to teach her recruits about business and not so much about how to sell products. After years of trial and error and finally finding a proven system of success, it just made sense to share with others.
It seems that Lakeysha lives to solve problems. In fact, she believes there IS a solution to every problem. Problem solving allows her to create something new or as an entrepreneur, learn something new. She also enjoys analyzing data. Business is often times a game of numbers. Being able to analyze the numbers is key to business growth. Lakeysha has the natural ability to help others understand no matter how hard it may be. She believes that it is vital for entrepreneurs to know how to “run” every aspect of business. There is no such thing as “I’m not good at math” or “I can’t use computers”. After working with Lakeysha, you will be able to run your business like a corporation, like a real pro.
In her search to grow her own business, she discovered that the way entrepreneurs and small businesses operate has changed. It is no longer about who you know, but what you know.
